FIVE IN A HAMMOCK

As I write, there are five fuzzies in the big hammock under the bed and poor Snow is sleeping by himself in the Hidey Hole. The squabbling is not happening much anymore; now we are ignoring the new guy. Poor little Snow. I gave him another bath today, thinking that it might be a smell on him. And I washed all the bedding. Isn't making much difference.
I guess patience is the key, here. I mean, how does one make ferrets get along and like each other??
Snow is a sweet little guy. And really, really pretty. He's very fluffy. He's social...he's not shunning the other guys at all. He is very playful and does these amazing war dances!! He's stealing Ziggy's balls -- heehee!
I spent the weekend cleaning rescue cages and sewing hammocks. I came up with the idea of sewing hammocks from old t-shirts and I love the result! Cute, huh? And cheap and unique! Just need to ask for t-shirt donations at work and hit my local thrift store. Woot!
Oh...and I managed to give myself a few severe chemical burns on my hands from cleaning the cages. Ugh! Painful and ugly!! Should've worn gloves..... :/ Should NOT have mixed chlorine bleach and comet....hey the cages are clean.

  1. Poor Snow--but you're right: all you can do is give it time.

I think it's adorable that there's a hammock attached to the underside of the bed. I laughed when I saw that picture *g*.

I'm so sorry about your hands--OWWW! It sounds like it really hurts [bleach always does a number on my skin, and I still haven't gotten it through my head to wear gloves].
Best wishes from me and The Triad!
